Abstract: Strategies for promoting environmental stewardship in vocational training are critical for preparing environmentally responsible professionals who can contribute to sustainable development goals. This study examines effective strategies for integrating environmental education and practices into vocational curricula, focusing on their impact on students' environmental awareness, skills development, and career readiness. Objectives include assessing current practices in environmental stewardship education, evaluating students' perceptions of environmental education outcomes, and identifying challenges and opportunities in promoting sustainability in vocational training. A survey research design is justified for its ability to gather data from 180 participants, including vocational educators, students, and environmental experts, using purposive sampling to ensure representation across vocational sectors in Rivers State. Case studies will highlight vocational institutions known for their innovative approaches to environmental stewardship, showcasing successful initiatives and their impact on student learning and community engagement. Findings reveal that environmental stewardship education enhances students' understanding of sustainability principles, promotes green practices, and prepares them for careers in eco-friendly industries. Recommendations emphasize integrating sustainability into vocational curricula, enhancing practical experiences in environmental conservation, and collaborating with industry partners to develop green technologies and practices in vocational training.
